National Indigenous History Month - June 2024
June is National Indigenous History Month, a time dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in Canada. The Sea to Sky School District joins the nation in honouring Indigenous communities' history, achievements, and resilience. Throughout June, we encourage students, staff, and the broader community to engage with Indigenous stories, traditions and cultures to gain a deeper understanding of First Nations, Inuit and Metis experiences.
